Moscow Folklorists' Lectures on March 1-2, 2012

On Thursday, March 1st, at 14.15 Dr. Alexandra Arkhipova (Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow) will give a public lecture on "Anthropology of Snow Revolution in Russia. Folklore and Protest: From Idioms to Street Actions". The lecture in English will take place in von Bock's House (Ülikooli 16), room no. 102. Slides of the lecture can be downloaded (14.2 MB).

On Friday, March 2nd, at 10.15 professor Sergey Neklydov (Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow) will give a public lecture on "Folkloric and mythological traditions of today (on the materials of the expeditions to Mongolia in 2006-2010)". The lecture in Russian with translation into English will take place in von Bock's House (Ülikooli 16), room no. 212.
