Call for papers: "Methodologies and Ideologies in Interreligious Engagement: Building Bridges in a Multipolar World" (ESITIS 2024)!

XV International Tartu Semiotics Summer School titled “Learning in Transformation”. The event will take place from August 28 to 31 in Viljandi and Kääriku, Estonia. The summer school commemorates 60 years since the First Summer School of Secondary Modelling Systems, which played a pivotal role in the birth of the Tartu-Moscow School of Semiotics.

Veera Ojala, PhD Candidate at the University of Turku, will deliver a guest lecture on Feb 13 at 10:15 am in Ülikooli 16-214.

The Bachelor’s Degree Ceremony of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities takes place on Thursday, 17 June, at 14.00 in the University of Tartu assembly hall (Ülikooli 18).

Master’s degree ceremony of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities takes place on Thursday, 20 June at 13.00 in the University of Tartu assembly hall (Ülikooli 18).

An online workshop for UNESCO Chairs from the Baltic countries and Poland was held on January 23.

From 29 January to 2 February, the international winter school "Survivance and Survival:  Theory and Method" will focus on the question of the survival of humanity by looking at it from the perspective of the humanities.

You can learn about the available internship opportunities, the application process, the roles available for international students, and more. In addition to the fair, workshops will be available where you can get advice on finding a job or an internship.
