UNESCO Chair invites to a policy round table around minority languages
18. juunil toimub ümarlaud, kus arutatakse üht keelepoliitika valdkonna keskset probleemi: kuidas ületada püsiv lõhe keelepoliitika kavandamise ja selle praktilise elluviimise vahel? Ümarlaua korraldavad RISE UPi projekt ja Euroopa Vähemuskeelte Edendamise Võrgustik (Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity, NPLD). Tartu Ülikooli vaimse kultuuripärandi rakendusuuringute UNESCO õppetool on RISE UP konsortsiumi liige ning juhib projektis tööpaketti, mis keskendub just keelepoliitikale.

Centre for Oriental Studies working visit to leading Japanese research and educational institutions
In April 2025, representatives of the Centre of Oriental Studies at the University of Tartu, Vladimir Sazonov and Rodion Krupin, made a working visit to Japan. The main goal of the visit was to develop academic cooperation, establish new professional contacts, meet with long-standing colleagues, and participate in an international scientific conference.
